Cookie Policy

Updated 20 October 2026

1. About cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local storage is a similar technology. They can support security, remember choices or track activity. This page describes the technologies used by TubeCrop.

2. Necessary technologies

tubecrop-consent: a first-party cookie recording the policy version, preference permission or refusal, and date. It lasts up to 180 days and is used to respect your decision, not for advertising.

Cloudflare may use security cookies such as cf_clearance or __cf_bm when the corresponding protection features are active. Their presence and duration depend on configuration and the security challenge; consult Cloudflare's cookie documentation too. These security mechanisms are separate from optional preferences.

3. Optional preferences

tubecrop-language: a first-party cookie storing a language code for up to one year. It is read or written to remember preferences only after you allow this category. Refusal or withdrawal deletes it and the equivalent legacy localStorage preference.

Without consent, you can still choose a language and use the site. The URL or browser configuration can determine language without persisting a preference cookie.

4. Analytics, advertising and third parties

External websites have their own policies. Requests to video and thumbnail providers may also involve technical data as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Managing choices

The banner offers Necessary only, Accept preferences, or saving a customised choice. Optional cookies are off by default. Reopen Cookie preferences in the footer to withdraw permission at any time.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If all storage is blocked, your choice may not be remembered and the banner may reappear. For questions, contact support@tubecrop.com.

Optional usage analytics

With your permission, our self-hosted Umami measures page visits, selected actions, scroll depth and active time. It uses a temporary session token held in memory; no analytics identifier is stored on your device. The consent choice is remembered for 180 days. We do not record sessions, source URLs, video titles, filenames or media content. Umami processes a pseudonymous daily visitor hash derived from connection information; raw IP addresses are not stored in its analytics database. No external analytics services are used. Advertising banners are described separately. Events are deleted after 30 days; backups expire after seven days. Declining or withdrawing consent does not limit the tools. Change or withdraw your choice using Cookie preferences. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.

Third-party advertising

TubeCrop displays third-party advertising banners in spaces separate from the tools. Advertising does not depend on the analytics choice. When a banner loads, the browser communicates with advertising providers and their partners, who receive technical data such as IP address, browser and the tubecrop.com origin. Advertising scripts load directly on the page and may access page content and browser storage. We do not send source URLs, clip titles or project content to the advertising network. Ads may involve measurement and third-party technologies; we do not describe them as tracking-free.
